My journey as a storyteller started at the age of nine, I would write stage plays and then put on full-scale productions—I’m talking lights, sound, wardrobe, everything! Now, the audience would usually be comprised of one man— my dad— but it is where I fell in love with the process of creating; turning an idea into something tangible that ignited the senses.
Always driven by childlike wonder and my filmmaker heart, I have shaped my career by the fusion of creativity and technical proficiency. Without the right processes in place content can lose its vibrancy and impact...and that's just sad!
As a professional with a balanced right and left-brained approach, I've successfully navigated roles across creative strategy, content, production, creator/brand partnerships and client service; collaborating with cross-functional teams and diverse entities ranging from brands and agencies to vendors and artists. No matter the role I make it a priority to stay attuned to trends and emerging techolgies to reach the overarching goal of connecting with audiences on a profound level.
My mission will never end at impressions or clicks. As a marketing professional who deems the story most important I will always look to the target audiences’ reaction— did we make them laugh; did we make them cry; did we make them think differently?Sentiment and Emotion are my measures of success; but of course the work I produce will hit the numerical metrics as well :)
